The Cholla shorts are an exclusive one-of-one denim upcycle, featuring layered distressing that blends woven tapestry, denim and a renaissance inspired printed poly cotton blend. The  distressing is designed to evolve over time, with the printed layers gradually wearing away to reveal the underlying denim and tapestry, creating a raw and naturally evolving garment. Drawing inspiration from the harsh and rugged characteristics of the Cholla Thorn Bush (Cylindropuntia prolifera), a spiny cactus with cylindrical stems that are covered in barbed spines, these shorts mimic a garments rips and tears caused by coming into contact with such a plant.
